For most people, starting a new life or buying a property in another country is exciting and exhilarating but it can also be stressful and nerve-wracking at times. Trying to find your way around unknown territory, view properties and find information on facilities and services at a distance is not an easy task and takes a great deal of planning and co-ordination.
In addition to our property finding service we provide the following high quality consultancy services, which have been designed to help you to make the right choices and decisions:
Buyer Assistance Service
If you have already located a property that you would like to buy but require some assistance to complete, we will advise you on negotiations, the buying process and how to minimise the costs.
Once your offer had been accepted, we act as your contact in Spain, to ensure that your transaction reaches completion as efficiently as possible. We will also act as your central point for questions, keep you regularly informed and be by your side when you go to the Notary on the day of completion.
Orientation Tour
If you are not familiar with the Costa Blanca and unsure where to start your property search, we will take you on a tour of the areas that we believe will match your brief. We can tailor this to your personal agenda and plan the route with you in advance if you wish, for example you might like to do some leisurely sightseeing, compare several locations or see places of particular interest.
You will be collected and returned from and to the airport or your accommodation and provided with information and advice about the purchasing process in Spain, including how to avoid common pitfalls.
Property Inspection Service
This service is useful whether you have selected the full Property Finding Service or have found a property yourself but require an in depth assessment. Our qualified housing and environmental health consultant can undertake a detailed inspection and provide a comprehensive report on one or more properties, including its location, construction, security, internal layout and décor.
The report will include comment on issues that could affect the property, such as, drainage, utilities and environmental aspects of the land and the surrounding area. Digital photographs will also be included (subject to necessary permissions).
This service should not be considered as a replacement for a structural survey but it can be valuable in identifying visible defects and potential problems before any firm offer is made.
